EthosCE LMS Integrates with iMIS and Association Anywhere Association Management Systems

It has been a busy Summer here at DLC Solutions. Over the past two weeks we have deployed EthosCE Learning Management System (LMS) for the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). EthosCE will enable each medical specialty society to automate and streamline the delivery of the live and enduring continuing education activities through Web-based content publishing, 24/7 assessments and reporting, personal CE transcripts, and e-commerce.

As is the case with most of our EthosCE deployments, we were required to seamlessly integrate with 3rd party applications to authenticate users, share and validate CE data, redirect users to the member site for managing their profile and process payments for purchases. Through our work with AAAAI and ASCP, we now support integration with the popular iMIS (using an API) and Association Anywhere association management systems. The seamless integration of these two systems with EthosCE will enable these medical associations to automatically share important data throughout their enterprise without having to bear the costs and risks associated with manual data entry.

EthosCE has a powerful integration engine for migrating external credits and learner profiles stored in iMIS and third-party systems. This engine imports these credits into the member’s transcript and merges them with any credits earned in the LMS. It can offer significant operational improvements for organizations by giving members direct access to an activity history of record. EthosCE can become a single repository of credits earned by users. Associations can use this data for ACCME PARS reporting without having to go through the pain of integrating and working with multiple Excel spreadsheets from disparate systems.
